This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and 24-hour reception for all my needs. I still remember how the staff helped me with a cold drink when it was hot out. Highly recommend it!

The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The gentleman working the front counter was unbelievably helpful, and being a business owner myself, an employee I believe anyone would be lucky to have.
The rooms could use some updating...

The location is excellent and i did not expect a well equipped gymn. That was a pleasant surprise. The terrace dinning area overlooking the King Davids hotel is a great place to relax.
The beds are quite narrow and really basic. And the TV channels are very limiting.

Nice rooms. Reception was very friendly. I dint like my first room as it had 2 single beds and they happily changed my room to one with double beds within 5 mins after checking if there was another room available and cleaned up. The breakfast was good too (very few places in israel serve brown bread and this was one of those who had choice between brown and white bread)
My neighbours were some noisy Americans who did not have any manners and were talking loudly in the corridors. Not the hotels fault, but they could have asked the neigbours to be civilised. In anycase, im glad that I was carrying my ear plugs foam so I slept well at night - having said that the hotel was very quiet and condusive for good sleep.

Fine rooftop view of the city during sunset.
The shower pressure fluctuated dramatically at times.

Fantastic location and great building. The foyer and restaurant outside seating area are spectacular.
There was no welcome guest book in the room, giving information on the services of the hotel, no info on how to use the television (which I had to ask the guy at reception to come and sort out), no number given to make an outgoing call, no information on getting hairdryer, ironing board or on the restaurant times and menu.

The location of the hotel is great, very close to the Old City in Jerusalem. The building is very interesting, with a historical feel to it and beautiful outdoor spaces. The staff did not give the best first impression, but turned out to be really quite friendly. As we stayed there on a national holiday, most restaurants in the area were closed and we considered having dinner (buffet) at the hotel. The staff then recommended us to go to East Jerusalem instead, for a different kind of experience, and we ended up having a great evening.
The hotel is a little run down. The shower was a little broken, though functioning alright, and the pool with its facilities was a little old. I still think it was alright though, but do not expect everything to be perfect.

The 360 views from the YMCA tower were amazing, and the access to the Olympic-sized pool next door was a highlight for my family. The location was super close to the Old City and made exploring easy. We also loved the clean and updated rooms that maintained their historic charm.
